IMAQ will be hosting Continuing Medical Education (CME) events at regular intervals through out the year.

See our latest CME details below.

These evenings hosted by the Pharmaceutical companies to provide ongoing education, and may be accredited with allocated CPD points for our members.

We will endeavour to have our members facilitate these meetings wherever possible insha-Allah.

In addition to the medical component there will usually be a short talk on Islamic medicine as well as other matters related to the Muslim Health Professional.

We will maintain a database of specialist colleagues, registrars and any members who may be interested in facilitating or presenting on any relevant topic. Kindly reply to the e-mail you will receive in this regard advising us of your area of interest and when the opportunity arises we will advise you. Email the secretary with your details and areas of interest.

The executive would also be more than happy to be advised of any meetings our members are able to arrange with your pharmaceutical representative, accountant, banker, financial adviser or any other person who will be of mutual benefit to the rest of the membership.

Once you have enrolled to become a member the invitations for the CME evenings will be sent to you by e-mail by our secretary.

Kindly note that you are expected to RSVP for all CME sessions for catering purposes.

Our meetings are held at several venues which provide Halaal catering. Some of these are Michaels Oriental Restaurant in Eight Mile Plains and The Stamford Hotel, in Brisbane City.
